I ask because I see a $200 360 at Gamestop.com with no hard drive, but a 64 MB memory card. Would that get me anywhere, or should I just get the normal core system instead WITH the hard drive?

first of all having a 360 without a memory card or a hard drive wont let you save games or load checkpoints or anything, just like a demo. if you plan to get more then 5 games then its recommended that you buy a 360 with a 20GB harddrive instead of a memory card. if you plan to buy more then 30 games, download extra maps for specific games, themes from xbl and all that and upload music you will need a 120GB ram and preferrably by a elite.

Well enough. I was just trying to find the transtition from PS2 memory to 360 memory. I know a PS2's 8 meg card lasted quite a while.
