i just got a used 360 and he had it for about a year.. theres nothing wrong with it... what the chance of getting a red ring of death?

most likely ull get is sooner or later... but umm..imo buying a used 360 is just asking for trouble... especially if u cant get a warranty on it

I bought a used 360 last July off of Ebay, no idea how long the previous owner had it. It's been working perfectly fine all this time with no issues..

Predicting if your console will get the RRoD is akin to being able to guess the lottery numbers..

If you keep it well ventelated and you dont let it over heat, you'll be fine.

like i dont play it hours and hours... ill probably be playing it like half to an hour a day becouse i got alot of things to do...

theres some way by taking a picture inside if u just recently got one so u can see if they put a new heatsink it but thats all i know

I've had mine since launch and have only had some freezing issues on games known for freezing. But my brother who got hisa yearlater has gone through two of them. If the gut you bought it from didn't have problems and you got a great deal on it vs buying a new one you're going to make out on the deal.
