I am not joking when I say this, I was trying to get a high score in an arcade game, and once left my 360 on for 14 days... The longest that I played howerever was 36 hours straight, I drank coffee and swallowed caffine pills to do it. I had a major headache afterwards,and yes, it was with than same arcade game.
The longest I played in one sitting was 36 hours. I'm in the army, we had a four day weekend, i'm in Korea, and I had nothing better to do than play Rainbow Six Vegas.
When Oblivion came out, I'd say the longest I played was probably 8-10 hours straight. The thing of it was, I did this for abouteight weeks solid, every day. Whew. That game wore me out, especially working 4 10-hour shifts throughout the week, and sometimes a 10 on Friday. I killed myself.
After hearing chem was canceled, i played bioshock from start to finish, I started at 7:30am and finished 2am the next morning. It was blizzard conditions outside and no one was going anywhere, my xbox kept me sane.
Oblivion ruined my summer 2 years ago. I had at least one 10+ hour session. I think I finished that game (all 1000 points) in 42 hours. That was with a ton of side missions and stuff. God that was a good game.
The longest i ever played was when i was trying to get the 7 day survivor achievement in dead rising. I would time how long i could last in the game without eating on the timer which allowed me to take bathroom breaks and eat etc. I think it was something like 15 hours cause you weren't allowed to save.
my record is 5 hours, if i play longer my 360 breaks with red lights. JK, but i have pulled all nighters many times, probably 20 hours on R6V 3 nights in a row lol. so 60 hours in 3 days.
I would not break any records compared to those late night gamers. Most I ever spent on a game was 4 hours and my seat got sore. Shows what age does to you.

wow thats fast! It took me to complete all missions (deadra, guilds, side quest, main story, download content) about +150
I can't remember the longest, but i can remember the most recent one. I only recently bought viva pinata and played it from 12PM afternoonto 8am morning.SO that'll be 20 hours i guess.
