Sales? Lack of a SP campaign? Shortage of maps?

But people do play it now. It's only $5 at GameStop, so I'm sure that was a nice incentive for most people. Could you elaborate on why it's such a 'terrible game'?
It wasn't a terrible game, just nobody really knew about it. Plus Halo 3, IIRC, came out very soon afterwards or before.
It was fun for a bit, but it could have been better.
it was a great game and took more skill than games like CoD and halo if you played with the right people (people who didnt play elf all the time). also the pc players tended to wreck the xbox players (at least i did >.>). also the company that created it went under so the game never really got supported like halo or CoD
that game was awsome, I hope number 2 comes out.
I love the feeling of shooting a crystal seed on the ground and having it expand to block a doorway.
it sucks.. that simple
i bought it sold it week later

Well .. You play Halo 3 and The Darkness, so I could see why you would think that.

All of the above + terrible game

If by terrible you mean it requires you to think and actually aim yourself instead of the game doing it for you, and also use teamwork then sure, it was a terrible game.
Thank you!
If you're talking about 'Strangle', then that wouldn't make it expand - it would actually destroy it.that game was awsome, I hope number 2 comes out.

The other day, my friend brought Shadowrun to my house. Without playing it, I said "No, just....no."

What he said. Alot of people including myself played it to get ready for Halo 3, and such went into obscurity once Halo 3 came out.
I never played the original RPG one, but i bout this game and omg it was the best. So many good memories, coming home from a late night baseball game, grabbing a G2 gatorade and some ramen and sitting in this fluffy chair till 3 am. The game shouldve got more praise than what it had. It was so good but since the devs left the game got no updates/dlc which killed it. Wish i could go play it now...

my guess would be because it suckedmtradr43And your reasons are because?
-it felt like only one third of a game. i got it after i payed PD: zero to death, where u had single player campaign solo and co-op, and a MUCH better multiplayer with MANY more maps and MANY more weapons. Shadowrun felt like it was missing a lot of content

I imagine you play on PC, but asking the 360 community.
makes no difference though:P
this is a legitimate case to say people hated it because they're terrible at the game(I'd bet the no respawning in ANY game-type really did it for them:lol:. I'd bet some reviews hinged on that as well.
it's an awesome game. giant learning curve worth mastering. poor on content and game modes. it was a very unique FPS, which just can't be said about most games these days.
I liked it enough I ordered a 2nd and 3rd copy. one so I can replace the boxartless copy from Gamestop, as well as a PC copy so I can play it on both platforms.
edit: looks like we both thought it was worth an 8.0 as well:P
I really enjoyed it. I played it more than I did most MP games. I spent the summer when it came out playing it, as did one of my friends. I move on to other games though, I don't just play the same one constantly for years and years. The only problem I had with it was the lack of maps.

Haha .. Actually, I've had it on PC within the first week it came out. I just recently picked up the 360 version because I saw it was only $5. The PC version is FAR much better. The PC version runs at 90+ frames for me with everything maxed at 1200p, while the 360 version is locked to 30 frames with .... okay graphics in 1080p. I've seen online that even the PC version goes for about $3 to $8 now. It's crazy. And yeah, I think I'm going to go back and up my score. Maybe an 8.5 or 9?Please Log In to post.
