Ok being an owner of both consoles I have a fair opinion here not being biased. Ok personally I favor my X360 mostly because the achievements really are addictive and I've found myself buying most if not all of my games on the X360 unless it's PS3 exclusive. Xbox Live and PSN are mostly the same, unless you consider the Xbox Live being down over Christmas, then that almost broke me and I changed over to my PS3 for the rest of the break. Mostly the same things are available on each except for some downloadable games and since each service offers downloads of games available on their predecessors. There are more trash talkers on Xbox Live though. The hardware in both is mostly the same. Visually, I can't find much of a difference however both systems shine with their respective Exclusive games, and then they are still pretty much the same. Now for movies however PS3 is the best in my opinion considering Blu-Ray has all but won, because if the war is going to change and HDDVD wins then that will mean ever movie studio but two will have to sign new contracts again being as most studios besides two are either supporting both formats or exclusively Blu-Ray. Downloadable movies, the X360 does have the upper hand though with the MGM catalog and Disney being added to their lineup. Now onto controllers, I have really become attracted to the X360 controller and can't really find myself able to play with the PS3 controller as well as before Xbox. The PS3 controller is lighter and the battery on mine does last alot longer. I'd say 4-5 times longer. All-In-All X360 wins for the most part if it's just games, PS3 wins for multimedia, but really if you wanted to enjoy all the best games you need all the consoles, really thats sad to say since if you buy the best model of each system thats well over $1000 and then if you put an HDTV onto that you are pushing or over $2000.

More exclusives(correct me if i'm wrong)

Better range of games CURRENTLY

Cons-

Its hardware has a bad case of the gremlins- Yathzee

Live can get a bit annoying when it breaks down

Ps3- Pros

More powerful(so i'm told)

Bluray

Free PSN

Cons:

Not many games that are worth playing

Only the 60gb has back comp with ps2 and ps1

I was going to make a massive post but i'm too lazy but seriously take it to system wars because everything is biased here

I agree with the idea that you will get biased opinions on this thread due to you are in the XBOX 360 forums. Click the forum tab above and go to SYSTEM WARS and repost this. This will probably get locked and you will get a moderation warning. I would close this thread.

well I have both so I will tell u what I think I think the ps3 has a little bit more powerthen the 360 but the 360 has alot more game and has really good online but hte ps3 has free online and it is good for being free and the ps3 also has some really good games and will only be getting better so I would say hmmmmmmm this is a hard one but since the xbox online is **** right now I give it tp the ps3
