I love the idea and the screenshots of the "Leap of Faith" just looks great! Though I doubt I will get the game ... I'm no good a sneaky games ... I might as well wear a siren on my head I'm that bad at it in games LOL
I feel you're pain! I played the last splinter cell recently. It felt like I was wearing a flourescent jacket. I think i'll stick to games that involve running in and shooting whilst screaming a warcry. I'll probably still buy the game tho. Stunning visuals so far...
So you are assuming everyone on the 360 board likes Assasin Creed? It doesnt look appealing to me in the slightest. Looks like Prince of Persia with a new paint job to me. Ill pass.
Personally I like the time period for a game like this. A lot of the sneaking games that we've gotten recently are modern with high-tech gadgets and the like to make your experience that much easier (see Splinter Cell and Hitman). This is a more primative look at sneaking and assassinating and I have high hopes for what they do with the story.
The game's originality is what hooked me. The size of the cities plus the fact that there's multiple citiesand the way you can move around is groundbreaking IMO. THe combat looks sweet and the graphics look amazing. And from the little i've heard of it, the story seems to be awesome.

I love the leap of faith mechanic. You can approach the mission in many ways. I can't wait to play this game.
Assasin's Creed producer pretty much did it for me. Jade? also the visuals and the fact that it's something totally different than what I have in my collection in the moment.
Why are people saying "it looks like Prince of Persia" like it's a bad thing? Just the thought of a next-gen Prince of Persia is enticing. Besides,AC is much more than it appears - literally. The medievel setting that we see in all the trailers and pics isn't exactly what it appears. That's also what attracts me the most to the game - the potential storyline.

AC will be like GTA (free roaming) but set in Jerusalem and other cities in the middle east. Instead of using cars for transport, you ride on a horse to get to places, which is cool.
But I think the game story will be very controversial. I hope Ubisoft Montreal does not screw up.
