Apparently they're banning modded consoles. It's just an online play ban though, right? They're not bricking them?

They have been pretending to be actually doing something about piracy. But it's been mostly a complete joke. My friend has been getting online for 2 years with abosolutely no problems.
lol You think I'd pay for something like Xbox Live? Anyway I know MS tried bricking consoles but you could easily fix that, I'm just curious what they're doing now that's all :)
They probably waited because so many free servers opened up for original XBoxes that were modded. XBox Live wasn't the only choice with the first XBox...
