ok, dont get me wrong, i like the 360, i have it, a wii, and a ps3, so i aint a fanboy, but seirously. what is the hype with halo 3, and why does microsoft and everyoen else get the idea that the 360s success is based on ONE game, i dont get it. unless im missing something, could someone tell me why halo 3 deserves the over hyped attention? this is what i see: a couple new maps, a couple new guns, better graphics, and new story. isnt that about it? it will be a great game dont get me wrong, i just dont know why anybody should overhype a game that will have no REVOLUTIONARY things in it. new weapons or maps or story isnt revolutionary. im just a bit confused...

I loved halo. i dont care if it brought nothing new to the genre. it was new to me. i hadn't reallyplayed a game with open levels that you see, and even the ones that were small and linear still looked/felt bigger than they actually were. and the combat was good. killing grunts elites and hunters was a blast for me and my friends.
Halo 2 on the other hand, i think the reviews for that were very generous, good multiplayer or not. but hopefully bungie has indeed learned their lesson and have gone back to halo 1 style of level design. i think duel-wielding and auto-aim are 2 more mistakes as well. duel wielding is kinda cool, but i think its also kinda lame. and for people who've read the books, it just makes it feel more lame. i know the books and the games don't share the same style...but he's still the same MC and duel wielding just doesn't make any sense.
