whats with all the COD hate?

ive been a fan since COD2 when the 360 first came out black ops looks hella tight the MP is great IMO.. halo is sick too but why does everyone hate call of duty MW2 ??

I think most gamers hate COD because of how popular and overrated it is. I mean it is a good game, but its not 'OMG BEST GAME EVER!1111'

Seriously people...

I just never liked it.

I used to hate it for all all the noobtubers, unfair killstreak rewards, camping etc etc. Then I started playing Search & Destroy. Pretty much the only game mode that's not broken. It's fun though.

Noobs is one reason that I hate about cod multiplayer.

It's popular and is said to be a milked franchise.

People hate on every popular franchise but the fact is they all still play them 90% of the time.

Simple answer is just: Haters are gunna hate.

I very much enjoy the Call of Duty series, but they shouldn't release a new game every year.

Take a break for a change. Call of Duty 2 was the best in my opinion.

Alright, here's the deal: Everyone is hating on COD 'cause MW2 IS a good game, but people have ruined it by finding elevators, abusing riot shields, etc. So, now since Treyarch is taking over the COD project. (Black Ops) they're basically just copying everything tht Infinityward did and adding a few things. Like character cusomization, and gungame. (They copied gungame from Counterstrike)

3 doesn't really matter, seeing as every game has dumb people, and I think 5 is the majority of it, since it has so many people playing, more people know its faults.

Okay MW2 wasnt that good but its still a nice game.

Its a killer game .....but have to agree cod 4 was much better !!

and BAttlefield bad company is slow and boring.

LOL I like the game.,initially it was a real pain for me to play with the 360 controller coz i'm a EX Pc gamer.

Now I'm on second prestige and play for endless hours :)

played COD 4 on pc but the servers were pathetic but Xbox live servers are really amazing :)

I do not hate every Call Of Duty since Cod1&2 are my favorites, but I hate fps's in general. When a game like Mw2 comes out and sells ridiculously well with a 6 hour campaign and a throw together MP other devs see this and get an idea. Why make a game with a 10 hour great campaign when we could just make a 5 hour mediocre campaign with some $5 MP and still sell the game for $60.

Imo it's a shame, most fps are slowly killing the gaming market and encouraging devs to make shorter and shorter campaigns and just to focus on the MP. Not just devs ofcourse gamers have alot to do with it as well. You know the ones that only buy games that have some MP attachment to it, thoughs people are killing gaming as well, I call them "halfnhalf" gamers :P.

I really enjoy Call of Duty, but I feel they've been milking us every year with simular games. I'm not sure yet if I'm going to even get Black Ops.

Been playing COD since the original back on the pc. MW2 was and still is aglitchy mess and its full of cheaters. I'm not willing to play it, I don't care if it has call of duty slapped on the cover.
