I hear a lot of mixed feelings about this game. Some say the only is one of the best or really good but others say the online sucks and This game is overrated. So what's wrong with this game online. What are the pros and cons of this games multiplayer. Because I'm either getting this or some turtle beach x1.
nothing wrong with it. People who say its overrated want attention and to be different, even though they know its a great game. It's like what billy mays said about online user reviews, and yes i'm about to quote billy mays.

Single player sucked, Multiplayer is where all the action is on that game, however it gets old to fast, I have not played this game for almost 1 year now.
I actually enjoyed playing Halo 3, because it has the most features in the game and you could play Halo 3 CO-OP (Online) with your buddies. Speaking of buddies, this game is only good if you play with your buddies, it gets pretty boring playing this by yourself all the time, but the features like Forge and Theater made it worth it though, but its still better playing with friends. Besides that, this game is worth it.
If you played H1 and H2 you might as well get it. If you simply love the Halo universe then get it... But if your looking for a great experience with sound and visuals to match, get something else seriously. Why Halo3, if you don't mind me asking? Theres tons of single player (Fallout3, Dead Space, etc...) and multiplayer (COD4, GOW2, etc...) games that are better experiences worth your money. I loved Halo, but it has fallen short on giving me memorable experiences. Just being honest. I'm not saying its bad just that theres better experience's to be had.

THERE's the reason... it's rated by the multiplayer, and not the boring singleplayer...
If you buy games for multiplayer missions then you'd probably enjoy it. However as a purely singeplayer game, which is what console gaming has and should always be about, it's not worth the dirt under my fingernails.
i thought that it was halo 2 just with better graphics. it was something that i didn't like about halo 3. i would also say that sometimes it is unbalanced in a way.
