Whats your attitude when playing online?

I love playing online and i tend to play fairly and i play by the rules, the only time i stray from the path of good is when someone starts team killing... (i hate team killers). But thinking of my attitude online made me wonder what type of people i play with online, i mean there are good and bad people everywhere so why should online be any differnt.

So who are you?

Here's some examples:

1. The angry gamer: This gamer comes online but quickly loses his temper when he's killed or beaten, will often send 1v1 messages to people and shout abuse at anyone who stands in the gamers way.

2. The annoying gamer: This cheeky chappy is propley the worst of them all (for me) these gamers come online to course hell amoung every person who plays online. They will come into a match and team kill, teabag, deliberately sabotage the match so you lose and also swear and give people hell.

3. The Pro: This gamer will come online to win, they will try to form a team and shout out orders to everyone else expecting them to obay his every comand. loseing with this type of gamer will result in alot of "f**k sake, what the f**k where you guys doing out there!!!".

4. The nice guy gamer: This guy will play by the rules and talk nice to everyone online without trying to upset anyone. even if someone trys to get a rise from this player they would leave before coming down to there level.

5. The its everybodys fault but mine gamer: This gamer is full of excuses, he will balme losing on anyone as long as it dosnt come back on him. he's never wronge.

These are just some fun outlines of what some gamers are like online i'd say if i was anything i'd be vengeful gamer, i'm a nice guy but wont let people try and walk all over me lol.

so what type of online gamer are you?

I'm nice most of the time until a squeeker starts to annoy me so I will yell at him/her(Who can tell the difference?) until the person leaves. I am so sick of high-pitched ten-year-olds online with their terrible humor, annoying voices, and the stupid **** they say. I actually only yell at people maybe once every two weeks.

The: what the **** are you serious thats ****ing ******* what a ****ing ***** *** ****ing game this game is so ****ing **** that was complete bull **** how the hell does that work the ****ing developers shoud learn how to make a ****ing game god ****ing damnit stupid ****ing noobs ... Haha, erhm. It depends on how i'm feeling. Wakanoid

Or I'm completely serious and just want to play a quick game.

None of above. I just like to relax. Never care if i win or lose, because you cant win forever.

The i don't plug in my mic unless i'm playing w/ my friends and then only talk to them type.

I'm quite shy online. I never have my headset plugged and when I do I don't speak on it at all. I tend to avoid team games because I can't "hide in the crowd" quite as much. If I just play deathmatch, and I do badly, its ok, but in a teamgame it stands out.

When I do go on, I'd be a Nice guy most probably.

when i play online on my own I end up muting everybodyelse because of most of the time most people are like the one on yourlist you have given.

When im online with people on my friends list we just have a laugh and to be honest thats the way it should be.

What i dont like is if I do leave the mike on and before the the match start is being called ***** im not a sensitive person but i just dont like it, stop being an idiot and we will get on fine!

The only time im aggresive is on racing games because everyone thinks that racing means destruction derby, very rare I find people who just want to race.

I always play fair and I never leave a game earlyeven if half my team rage quit and its 2 vs 12.

When i make exceptions and use my mic outside of party chat i'm number 4. Usually though my friends bring their friends in the party so thats how i meet people.

I'm usually nice but I think sometimes I talk some people's ears off. I'm pretty friendly to everyone except people who start messing up my team.

I'm usually nice and try to have as much fun as I can. All my friends are very mad and angry when they play Call of Duty (this is why I don't play it) and get totally angry if someone messes up or gets killed. I just play for fun but also to win.

I just play, and tell some people to stop singing and randomly insulting.

I had someone on my own team on MW2 basically use every every single swear word I'ld ever heard just because I asked him nicely to stop singing :S

The "i couldnt care less if i win or lose cause its a game" attitude

when I use my mic I normally don't talk at all until I need too. About ½ the time it comes to the point that I don't have to talk at all so I just keep it on a low volume incase I hear something I'm actually interested in.

If I played online I'd be number 4 pretty much. That said I really don't play much online because there's way to many douches that play on live. I play and wish every else would play with some form of tact and respect for others, sadly a game rarely goes by that it actually happens. Honestly, I don't care to hear how awesome you (think you) are and how the game is glitching or someone else is cheating because they are killing you. I don't care if you don't like snipers who you think are camping or that you don't like the sound of someones voice. I don't care if you think i'm playing wrong and that I should start doing things your way. I don't think you're funny because you're young but swear and talk all tough because your moms not in the room. Honestly most online gamers annoy me.

I try to be the nice gamer. I guess im the fun gamer. I like to make the game as fun as possible.That's why it's a game.

More people need to stop taking it so seriously, communicate, calm down and have fun!

I guess I'd be categorized as the Nice Guy. I play like a Pro though. I hate losing, but I don't let that get in the way of my and everyone else's fun. If I lose I usually evaluate the mistakes I made and try to fix my strategy for the next match.

i play by the rules. try to help people out if they are new. i use the complaint and review systems quite frequently when people get offensive. i just play to have fun and hate it when people are asses for no reason. i mute and tell quite a few people where to stick it haha. so i guess im the nice-until-messed-with type of gamer.

I'd categorize myself as a neutral gamer. Sure I want to win, but I generally concentrate on my own performance and pay no mind to anyone else's unless they're being blatantly retarded. I won't speak unless spoken to and will just try to enjoy myself, even when doing poorly. I'll mute pretty much every type of gamer in the OP except for number 4. When playing with friends, I stay in party chat all the time, but sometimes they'll get bent out of shape over something. I'll try to say things to lighten the mood in that case.
