Probably RPG's. I've been on a jrpg kick lately with Persona 3, Nocturne, and Tales of Vesperia. Although since I picked up BlazBlue last week I have yet to play anything else...

on 360 it would be western rpgs and shooters every now and then, on pc though rts reigns supreme

RPGs are at the top, followed by shooters. Now games that combine both are REALLY awesome.

Squad-based tactical shooters are my favourite (not GRAW though), with Halo thrown in there somewhere. Then sci-fi WRPGs. I do consider RTS to be my favourite genre, but as of late I haven't come across one that I really like other than COH.
