I dont think the K/D ratio is a reliable way to judge someones skill. but mine have always been around the .94 ish mark, occasionally hanging at the 1.0slil_zelda_dudewhat is then? cause i think thats a pretty good measure of skill

I think you can get a pretty good idea of the person's skill by their K/D ratio. Everyone on my friends list who are below a 0.9 ratio, often don't have a good game, while the people who have a ratio higher than 1.2 are much more consistent in having good games.

I Think accuracy plays a big part in that equation also...mine is around 24%.
COD4 it was around 2.10 but after trying to get into it months later I completely sucked and it dropped to around 2.04.
CODMW2 is around a 2.17 last I checked.
In MW2 mine is 1.07 and it's on a dramatic rise. I started off horribly; getting scores like 3-20 whilst I didn't know the maps. However I quickly got it back to 1.0 and now it's on a steady increase. If I could reset my ration it would definately be over 1.5
Modern Warfare - 2.36
Modern Warfare 2 - 1.96
I've been playing Call of Duty since the series was first released back in 2003. The gameplay hasn't changed much, which is nice, but it does become triesome. Also, I'm constantly worried about my K/D that it's become too competitive for me.
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare - 2.48
Call of Duty: World at War - 1.78
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 - 2.15
I've been playing Call of Duty games since the first one came out back in 2003 and I always strive to do really good even though it frustrates me sometimes.

I sucked in my modern warfare days. It may have peaked around .99, but usually hovered around .92
I inexplicably improved for WaW, averaged around 1.15
For MW2, i've improved again (mostly thanks to killstreaks XD) It peaked a while back at 1.31 and since has hovered at 1.28ish. Not bad for me.
on another note... i earned my first nuke today, but some douchebag got the last kill before i could use it. CRY WITH ME :'(
Modern Warfare 2 - 0.85
It was much worse before I got better at the game, I've worked hard to build it up, LOL.
lol,i just got MW 2 today and i only played about 4 matches but my k/d is in 0.72ish i think and in MW its 0.92.Not that great i know.
EDIT:I only have a 0.72 k/d ratio but since i only played about 4-6 matches it isnt that bad cause i dont yet know the maps but i average 17 kills and 18 or so deaths.
