It's always nice when an achievement you've unlocked feels like actual achievement. Sure, it's nice to gain a huge number of points for relatively simple tasks, but when it feels like you've really earned the points you're receiving it's oh so much more satisfying to hear that 'pop.' Achievements that require a lot of time, a lot of skill or a lot of both can get infuriating beyond belief, but unlocking a tricky achievement never fails to appease for the earlier rage. When I heard the 'Aperture Science' achievement (The Orange Box) unlock I was unashamedly delighted. All the hours I put in refining my routes and tactics for the various challenges made earning it so much more rewarding. So tell me, what's your most rewarding achievement to have unlocked?
i guess it would b the spec ops achievements for MW2, just figuring out wat to do, when to do it, and if u or ur partner can survive was great stuff lol and getting the last spec ops achievement was great lol
but I'm on the 2nd-to-last mission of Halo Reach, so once I get those achievements(assuming the last mission is something I can handle) that will probably be it.
Hmm... if we're looking at single achievements then In Memory of Pertruccio for collecting feathers in Assassin's Creed 2 comes to mind. But for beating entire games Batman Arkham Asylum on both 360 and PS3 is definitely what I'm most proud of, though I'm working on Mass Effect 2 on Insanity so it may soon be that
Right now I would say beating Halo: Reach by myself on Legendary.
It takes time and planning in some areas with a lot of Elites running around in a small space. Like the 5 Elites before the Big gun on the last mission. I would run in try and kill one then run out and try to run around until I made a Checkpoint to save my progress and then go back in and try and kill another elite. I think I assassinated 2 of them. Grenaded one and then bashed two of them to death. I think I had to bash one six times before he finally died.
It was very satisfying and a relief to get that achievement.
In Memory of Petruccio, getting all the feathers in AC2. I got about 25 throughout the game so it was twice as hard having to figure out which ones I was missing and which ones I just couldn't see. Not much of a fan of collectibles either so I was happy to finish it.
I can't think of one but just curious what about Batman do people have trouble with? I see people mention it in hardest achievement and most rewarding achievement topics and I don't get why.
100 curb-stomps in Gears of War (2006). It wasn't hard at all to get, but it was definitely fun getting there. It's on my other gamertag that I could never recover due to deleting an email address. I lost about 8k gamerscore on that gamertag. For me, that's a lot. :P
