Second thought, maybe it's in an order.

To me, 2008 will be the best year for gaming. I just wish some releases were more evenly spread during the year, instead we get them all in the last quater; typical. Anyways, here's my top 5:

1. Fable 2

Will Peter Molyneux live up to his promises? It certainly looks that way because Fable 2 looks fantastic.

2. Gears of War 2

All I want is a better Gears of War, and this one looks exactly like that. Just little gameplay enhances, nothing redifining is alright by me. And this will probably take the top spot from Call of Duty 4 on Xbox Live.

3. NHL 09

Alright, this one is more of a personal choice because I'm a raving hockey fan, but I honestly think that last year's NHL 08 was the best sports game I ever played, and 09 looks better.

4. Prince of Persia

I haven't even played any of the Prince of Persia games. but I hear nothing but good things about it. And after watching the lasting gameplay video, my jaw hit the floor. This game just looks so incredibly fun.

5. Fallout 3

I'm putting this in the #5 slot because I'm a little skeptical, but I trust Bethesda

Im a big hockeyfan and we can all agree on that 08 was easily the best sportsgame last year. Another reason why its my number 1 pick is simply because its closest to release.

Oblivion + Shooter = Instant win imo

3. Rock Band 2
500 songs by the end of this year? :D w00t!

4. Gears 2
I liked gears of war for its singleplayer, not so much multi because of its delay. Hopefully Gears 2 will improve alot.
