The answers will vary on if it's good or not because people have different opinions The duration on the game depends on how long you search for items, how fast you wanna level up, how many enemies you kill, etc It's an RPG
A lot of people hated it, and a lot of people liked it.
For $20 I picked it up and I've enjoyed it a bit. It does have co-op so that is a plus.
I'm not even though the campaign and have put in over 10 hours on it. Lots of replayability. If you like loot, armor and weapon upgrades, and Diablo type RPGs this game might suit you.
Its a Prototype/Infamous kinda game, some will like it most will not, It doesn't hurt to try though.

Why didn't you just look at some gameplay footage? Seriously is it an RPG or FPS? I'm just amazed by that.

What I did see was lots of people recommending it lately, and I know nothing about it. Matter of fact I thought it was an RPG similar to KOTOR style, which shows you how much i Knew about the game. The forums over there are pretty boring, and I don't really watch gameplay videos. Instead, I ask for peoples opinions here. thanks for caring so much.
Try the demo. Didn't seem that great to me, but some people really liked it, so who knows. Its incredibly cheap now though, so even if you don't like it at least you didn't drop a lot on it.

Too Human is a loot grind RPG. The game is 10 hours and it's very boring and ugly. The story is incomprehensible and the entire game feels pointless. Don't play it it's not worth your time. And it's NOTHING like Prototype or Infamous. It's more of a Diablo/Champions of Norrath game.

I own a lot of games like that too so what's your point? I was one of the few people that actually bought this game a little bit after it came out for $40 when the majority of people were saying it was horrible on this site. Well it definitely isn't like KOTOR I can tell you that right now. It's a hack and slash game with some weapons that uses the right analog stick to perform melee attacks which is what most people hated and it's a game that you will die a LOT in. Why wouldn't you watch gameplay videos? That's one of the main reasons I buy poorly rated games. One gameplay video would have shown you what type of game it is.
I didn't like it all, because of it's awkward control layout.

And you can't even rotatethe camera, it moves away from the center of the screen, and the camera is the most important aspect of these types of games, otherwise it just becomes a pain in the ass (which it was).
I never even got that far in it either, so if I missed out on a so-called 'hidden gem', it's kinda late for that now. :lol:

LB tap to re-center camera, LB hold to enable free-look with R, D-pad up and down to change camera style, and R click to enable close-up Baldur camera. I very rarely had any camera issues unless I was behind a building but a simple button press and it was fixed.
It's just an average RPG where all you do is grind for loot. It gets boring very fast and it's short unless you like replaying the same 4 or whatever levels.

All of that is exactly why it was a pain in the ass for me. All I wanted to do was rotate, but it can't do something as simple as that, simply because attacking is on the right stick. Do you really think that it was a good idea? I know that they were trying to trailblaze a new style of play,but it just doesn't work out as well as the traditional layout of the genre.
I barely used any of those besides re-centering the camera as I normally kept the camera at the same distance. It never really bothered me besides a few moments when I was fighting a large group of enemies and the camera got in the way which didn't happen too often though.

Oh, you're talking about stuff getting in the way.
No no, I'm talking about actually scoping out the area, being able to just look around freely without any trouble at all. I had no problems with the battles as far as the camera goes, but I just felt the need to search the areas I've been to find collectibles or treasure chests etc.
Too human is a hack and slash that utilizes the right analog stick that you direct in the direction of the enemy to fly towards them and kill them. You can also do the same with the guns. Lots of loot, armor, money to be made and armor customization is not completely huge but it's there. Good for the Diablo players, but you can't really play it as much. The online community may be limited at times but when it is high, you will know what character classes reign supreme.
There is a demo for Too Human on Marketplace so you can try it out for free and see if you like it. The demo is a part of the start of the game, exactly as you would play it in the full thing.
I really enjoyed it and thought many of the reviews were overly critical, and more interested in playing the "bash Too Human game" that was happening last year when it launched.
A single playthrough of the campaign is likely to take around 15-20 hours for a first time, and will get faster each time you playthrough after that. With 5 different characters, 2 alignments for each, and a level cap of 50 (which takes several playthroughs to reach) there is plenty to enjoy if you are into Diablo style loot collecting hack'n'slash games
It's nothing like prototype or infamous. Think Diablo, Titans Quest, Kingdom Under Fire. You pick a class, and you kill mobs of enemys, a few mini-bosses and then the boss at the end of the level. There are 4 levels in total. The combat is meh, the entire game is built around loot. I've got around 80 hours on my main toon. Another 30-40 on others.
i liked it until i got lost in a town where you gotta look at posters to see the map. and you cant tell where you are on the map. so it dont help you at all
im actually going to pick up this game and find out for myself. i was really hyped up for this game but the reviews shot my hopes down.

i hve to say too human was a bad game very short very boring and repetitive. Also the story was pretty bad and the graphics were ugly. There is a small amount of joy to be had with co op i guess but maybe its worth a buy at the prices you should be able to find it for now.
