next year. since treyarch does the odd number ones it's already been in development for a year. It will just be a copy of 4, and we'll wait for 6 for the REALLY good one.
it may be sooner then anybody thinks.. because its not IW that is making the game remember that.. man i liked cof4 more then 1.2.3.... i dont wanna go back at the WWII part its lame now.. i already know the story and how its going to end.. give us something new
Not for a very long time. They came out with 4 just over a month ago, so I would not expect them to have it out in 2008. They have gotten rave reviews over the cinematic portion, so they will definitely try to do that again.

except they will have it out in fall 2008. Don't you people remember what they announced with 3? They said that they'll be putting out a call of duty game every year, but each game has 2 years of development. THey do this because IW now does the even numbered titles and Treyarch does the odd ones. Theres a 99% chance that Call of Duty 5 is already a year into development, and will launch around this time next year.
Plus remember the ActivisionBlizzard document that was released saying that Call of Duty 5 was already in the pipeline?

thats what im saying.. not the same people making the game.. they probable started making the game before cof4 even was 70 procent finished... it will definelty come 2008.. this time maybe...

What is interesting is that there is a quote that follows "Working experience with First-Person Shooter or Third-Person Shooter genres (console or PC). And if you're a fan of World War 2 shooters, then even better!" I am not stating any facts here, because this could just be a generic description for COD games and used again after COD3, but if this is current and up to date COD5 may go back to WWII. I've heard that rumor in a couple of places. It's disheartening...I really like the jump to modern warfare.

Just what I was about to say. Just have fun with CoD4 for now and wait for CoD6. Expect 6 some time in Q3-4 2009. Unless Treyarch pulls of a miracle, CoD5 won't be anything special.
