I wish but I think no matter where you are in the world a 360 is going to RRoD no matter what. I've come to understand its just what they do. But I still love my 360, lol.
When M$ gets enough money (:see the irony?), so that they can invest more money to the hardware of the 360. If they do however, there would still be plenty of 'broken' 360's.
So most likely we will see 99%-working Xbox's when they release the next generation of Xbox's and can supply working products. The other option is of course that they will ultimately replace all broken 360's with improved 360's during their maintenance. I think the latter option seems unlikely though.
I think everyone's come to accept it so there's nothing we can do about it. We may be able to prevent if at all by giving the 360 lots of room to breathe and keep it in a cool room. Also don't put it on a big fluffy carpet otherwise that'll get it hot too.
Like others have said, it will never end. Right now, there's 360's just waiting to break.
I'd hate to be one of the guys that sends their **** in, only to wind up with another dead one. If and when mine breaks, **** MS. I'll be using my in-store warranty.
