When will GH2 ship from RedOctane?

I was just wondering if anyone has received an email from red octane, or any other pre-order site, confirming that their copy of guitar hero 2 has shipped.

They will have to ship it out soon (by Tue/Wed) if the game is to arrive at our homes by 4/3/07.  When I checked the red octane site and put in my order #, it says "back ordered," but I'm assuming that's because it's a pre-ordered game.

Any thoughts? 

does anyone's status not say "backordered" for those that pre-ordered from red octane?

if i don't get a confirmation email that my order has been shipped by this saturday, i might as well cancel the order and pick it up at circuit city on tuesday.

please post whether or not you've received an email from red octane and also what your order status says on their site.

My local gamestop said that they will get their shipment wednesday morning next week, so I'd imagine that it actually ships on Monday or Tuesday.

it's strange that games come out on the day they are shipped to the store.  in weekly ads, it usually states, "in stock by 5pm wednesday."

 dvd's are in stores on the previous thursday and are released for sale the following tuesday.

i just want to make sure that i'll be getting the game on time and that my order isn't truly "back ordered" from the publisher.

From what I understand, Gamestop and EB games should be getting the game sometime tomorrow but they cant sell it til the 3rd cuz thats the street date for sellingPlayaCDubb

that sounds about right.  movies work the same way.  i just don't know why the publisher wouldn't be able to mail them out... today!

i, like many others, have been waiting for this game for quite some time. :) 

Just checked the status of my order and it's changed from "back ordered" to "warehouse"

 this is a good thing.
