Hi, so I pre - ordered halo reach limited edition from Gamestop Canada and I was just wondering if they would deliver it when the game was released or just whenever they wanted to because they're **** I only chose standard shipping because I didn't want to pay an extra 10 dollars or whatever and on the website it said it would take maybe 10 days after processing to get delivered and that shipping would start 9/14/10. I really don't want to have to wait 10 days AFTER the game comes out to be able to play it. I might as well just have pre ordered it and picked it up from a store then. Any insight would be appreciated.
You gave yourself the answer. It will arrive roughly 10 days after the game is officially released. You may be lucky and get a tad sooner or it may take a little longer. Not really much else we can tell you. They actually tell you that they won't be shipping prior to the games release so you will have to wait the 10ish days.

stores get in troble for selling early, not you... for any game
oh, maybe you need to find a good place for pre-ordering where you are, a country specific retailer will probably get it to you faster.

I order from game they give free courier 1 day delivery on pre-orders. should be getting it soon. And to rub that in, college is closed for U6 on monday

Pre-ordered MW2 from coolshop.co.uk and got it 4 days before release, maybe pick a better retailer next time :P . Also i didnt get banned either, i was playing online for those 4 days and online was actually pretty active...
well, on the website i checked my order history and it said they were going to start shipping on the 14th, but they also said that pre-ordering is a great way to get your game promptly on the day its released so now I'm just confused.
