Who said a new one is coming out in 2010? If you want value buy the 20g when it has the $50 price drop. Don`t worry bout rr, it happens, but so do cavities and car wrecks.

Why would you wait two years for the new Xbox 360 to be released? Just buy it now, it's only $299. If you own all of those systems + games, then I'm sure you can afford a 360.

Wow! That's a high tax right there. I don't think you should worry about the red ring of death anymore. I bought my console in January 2008 and its NEVER overheated. I've left it on for about 10 hours straight and it was still room temperature.
Just wait till the 60 gig version comes out (you may want that extra space) and you'll be fine.

maybe just download xbox orginals, ince i never got the first xbox
when they make a new console and all the games become cheap, and get the console it self for under 100 $ and then u wont have to worry about prod because it will be that far away from now...! ... then u will save all the money that ppl spent thousands in
