i am a long time xbox fan, but is it just me or are we running out of excluses?

Huh?
Forza and ODST then Mass Effect 2, Splinter Cell, Crackdown, Reach, etc
That's not counting all the exclusive content on the Arcade this past year with more up and coming
Oh yeah, and exclusive content with games like GTA
Not exactly sure where you think there's a lack of exclusives :|
Because with this generation of consoles, 90% of new games are released on multiple platforms. It's not like PS3 is overflowing with exclusives, either. The only system with a lot of them is the Wii, and most of them aren't that great.
Also, it's exlusives, not "excluses."
Lol, excluses. There are many exclusives, what games do you have?i am a long time xbox fan, but is it just me or are we running out of excluses?

If a game will come out on PC, it is not truly exclusive, such as GTA episodes of liberty city, Splinter cell, Mass Effect 2, Ninja Blade.
ONLY Forza and Halo franchise are we truly confident will be 360 exclusive
The whole it came out on PC arguement is kind of lame considering even people with very good pc's don't put them in the same catagory as any console for several reasons.
Maybe we could all just say Microsoft Exclusive or Console Exclusive to make everyone happy.

See? They're popping up all over the place lol
I was going to say the exact same thing. There aren't many, i feel the same way, although Splinter Cell: Conviction is coming out in February and that game looks sick.
yeaaboii
I have and triedtried mass effect but i just dont like it so i shouldnt waste money on the second. That just puts me with one less exclusive to look forward to on an already small list.
Good thing theres so much good multiplats tho.

I don't get it either. PC + 360 should just be lumped together because Microsoft has their hands in both, while Sony and Nintendo don't.

Let's just not go there. That's the cause of countless fanboy wars, and it makes me sad because I have to end up siding with Cows(something I can't stand to ever do)

I don't see it that way because then Final Fantasy 7 and 8 are not Playstation exclusives and I think they should be considered as such. Console gaming and PC gamers has always been quite different (and still is even thought we get the same games) and as such I think the exclusives should be counted even if they are on both. If we are going with your way of thinking then Super Mario 64 technically isn't an N64 exclusive either.... Because that is on a system other than the N64 even though it is still a Nintendo platform. Anyway, I personally think video games should be held into 3 categories. Handheld, Console and PC. With that if there is a game for one console, handheld, and PC then it would be an exclusive in each of the categories. Also if you are confused about the term PC and consider that to be Microsoft Windows then you make this entire exclusive arguement pretty much non existent on your half... This isn't just for you multiplat, but everyone.[QUOTE="Jaysonguy"]

Being a PC gamer, this is exactly what we dont want, microsoft started a entire windows live thing which we ALL hate, its annoying and gets in the way, if microsft combined dedicated servers with xbox and pc, those games would not be very popular. We want are games to be left alone with dedicated servers which MW2 **** up. PC multiplayer games are different cause thats how we are, thats why i bought mw2 for my console because the community on the pc is so bad with no dedicated servers. Dont get me wrong matchmaking is great for consoles, but on the pc its just a ****

PC gamers would own us every time in every FPS game, hope that doesn't happen!
Well, for alot of people, the exclusives are the deciding factors in their purchase of console as (let's admit) the PS3 and 360 aren't very different. In fact, one of the reasons I bought my 360 was for the 'supposedly' bad JRPGS the OP is talking about. (maybe they're bad in his/her opinion, but they can't state they're outright bad)Does it really matter to you if games are exclusive to your console?

This just wasn't a good year for the 360. Next year should be much better.

I wasn't talking about putting 360 and PC games on the same servers. I just don't consider games to be on multiple platforms if they're not being released on the PS3 or Wii in the context of this topic.

Who owns gaming on PC - Microsoft?
No - No one "owns" gaming on PC. Any company can make software or games to run on a PC, they don't need MS approval. MS made the operating system -doesn't mean they have any control over who makes software for computers.
