Where do they come from?

It seems that the only people you meet on xbox live are a bunch of 9 year olds who think they are hard dishing out abuse in squeaky voices, where have all the normal people gone? it seems like i can't into a lobby of call of duty without being told something by a hyperactive infant who is only doing it to impress his little friends. well all we can do it give back abuse but as soon as you say an insult, you have a swarm of squeaks come your way from all of his little mates.

if this has ever happened to you, what have you said back to these children? and did it work?

I mute everyone with a microphone and pretend it's adults I'm playing with. Oh by the way, if you're a teenager: yes, your voice is annoying, shut the mic off until you're 20!Black_Knight_00

when i had amped 2 on the original xbox, i got the same thing, xbox live was littered with the buggers. you can't shut them up. or even worse is when you get someone from wolverhampton screaming down the mic every time they get shot.

I don't ever get insults from kids, although it is a bit annoying to listen to them. Plus, you find yourself asking what they're doing playing M-rated games like Modern Warfare 2.

people who come back with things like "how old are you you squeaky little ****" are just as bad as the annoying brats in the first place, don't judge people by their voice, there are just as many ****s who are adults. I've met quite a few nice kids on live, and with some of them, you can have more mature conversations than you can with 90% of the adults.

Yes, some of them are unbelievably annoying, but that judgement is passed then on to kids who have done nothing wrong.

Live is for everyone. No one has the right to say that others shouldn't speak.

I Give what i Get to the norm that is 9 - 12 year old 10th prestige lobby n00bs with a dumb clan tag that consists of Pro or Elite at the start of there Gamertag.

Anyway i tend to shut them up by saying "your mum brought the game because your obviously not 18 so sit down and shut up"

Epic Mute Failure - things to do while squeaky toddlers wear out their sugar high:

1> Play something else that requires a bit more thought + teamwork - idiots don't like to think - it hurts them.

2> Do some Co-op with a friend.

3> Play something offline

4> Really just gots to play the game with the squeaky toddlers? Oh well - just unplug the headset :(
