Hmm.....not sure. I kind of hope it stops soon after. Perhaps the books should continue a little, but not much. After Halo 3, I don't plan on really gaming after that.

is the movie still happening? i thought peter jackson was on the rocks about it Universal (I think it was Universal) backed out because it was costing too much I think. I don't feel like searching through my updates for it.
i think after the movie they will make a game of it. also i would like to see a halo game about the fall of reach. i never read the books so i know nothing about it other than the covanent won... i think i dont know. SEE perfect game.Â

ummmm I think that the honor for best selling game series would go to Warcraft
a prequel maybee?you play as a soldier during the first covenant attacks, but at the end of the game you find out that the soldier you were playing as the whole time is master chief.idk, not really into the storyline, its just an awesome game, and prequels kick ass
Halo is too big of a franchise to just throw away...this may be the end for master chief, but maybe Bungie will keep creating games based on the halo universe, outside of master chiefs story...
   if this is the final story based version by bungie then they should keep it that way. What I wouldn't mind is a new installment of their multiplayer every four or five years.
