I tried this in general games and discussion forum but no one really answered. So over the summer I will probably be renting more games but Blockbuster never has good games for rent. My question is what is a good online site to rent games from that has pretty fast shipping and service?

I just hit up Blockbuster. Costs me 8 bucks though for 360 games :( (at least I get em for 5 days + the 7 day grace period). It's nice when they have their "2 for $12" deal, which isn't going on anymore... :( I've got The Godfather and Earth Defense Force 2017 rented at this time :)

Both the Godfather and EDF were great games! I was renting them when my 360 broke :(. CANT WAIT TO GET IT BACK. Hopefully friday.

Back on topic, I think you would be best renting from a local place as their rates are most likely cheaper.

I rent at hollywood video. I get coupons in the mail every month too. stuff like "rent one game get one free", "erase your late fees". there should be one near your place, hollywood is popular.

i think renting has less to do with being poor and more to do with wanting to try out a game before spending 60 bucks on it like a moron.

I'm no where near being poor either and I would much rather rent crappy games from blockbuster than pay $60 for them.

Renting games is a way of determine wealthiness...hmm never knew

and even though it may makeyou look poor, according to your knowledge, it's better then waisting 60 bucks on a game that might be crappy you should consider renting on games ur not sure about in the future

Gamefly is the way to do it, you can still buy the games from them, but you buy them later at a pre-played price but you've had the game since it came out, now that's smart... :D

unless you've forked out monthly fees while keeping the same game. then it's not so smart.

i dont really rent games but if i do its blockbuster since its the only rental place i have arond me. The only problem is to rent the games you need a credit card and on top of that its like almost $8 to rent a game for 5 day!! If you ask me i think thats a rip off.

I use Gamefly also. They are cost effective and reasonably fast. Federal holidays slow them down a bit, because the postal service is closed.
