Gamestop or Best Buy for new releases or used ones on occasion, but I really like Amazon too sometimes.
depends
i useally like amazon as they offer $10 $20 for your next game and offer release date delivery. so by time im done with work on tuseday it sitting on my doorstep when i come on.
So whats not to like about that. amazon is pretty good retailer. great return policy game credits when you pre order games, release date delivery, no sales tax, no wasteing your gas or going out of your way to get it.
when i pick up new game in store. i tend to go where ever closer but not bestbuy. They more evil then gamestop in my opinion. but anyways if i dont buy new game on day one i'm mostly going buy it used.
used games. i get them from other people. gamestores jack up prices to much. but hey thats price for paying to have a middle man.
while i will never sell there or buy a game that needs an online pass i prefer gamestop because they have a good selection of used games for a cheap price
Amazon for a few simple reasons.
1) No sales tax (in the majority of states).
2) Lower prices than physical retailers (i.e. Walmart).
3) Free year of Amazon Prime if you're a college student (which means free 2 day shipping or release date shipping).
4) Free shipping even if you aren't a Prime member (have to spend over $25 but that's ok).
5)$0.99 release date delivery if you aren't a Prime member.
6)Great promotions (i.e. $20 credit with the purchase of Gears of War 3 or extra in-game content such as maps or weapons).
If for any reason Amazon's price for a new game is $59.99 with no promotional content or store credit, I will just get the game at a physical retailer because I can use a discount to avoid in-store tax.
I put other because I don't buy from the same place all the time. I go to Walmart for midnight releases because it's like 15 minutes away, the closest Gamestop is around 45 minutes (same with Best Buy, they're across the road from each other), Amazon I use frequently but never for games. So Walmart mainly, for games, but for accessories, etc. usually go Amazon.
Don't really buy many games so once in a while stop by Gamestop once there's something i'd like to pick up.
Walmart, Gamestop/EB games, Bestbuy,Future Shop, Toys R US, Sears, any independant game shops, Flea markets, pawn shops craigslist, Kijjii, EB games, JJ games, A&Z videogames, Garage sales, Basically everywhere and anywhere OLD and NEW places to search and buy videogames. Anyplace thatn sells them. The Mega videogamer will hunt down games for the collection.
For me searching for Specific Xbox 360 games (or other systems) is a chore sometimes. But that is what I must do sometimes.
I agree with this 100%Amazon for a few simple reasons.
