YAY! post deleted! Anyway, imo GS should have the review up by now. It helps alot for some of us who want to get it the first day. If they post it the day of release and its a good review and i decide i want it, stores might be sold out already. THAT is why i think GS is falling behind on their reviews. And if i get modded AGAIN for this then thats just silly.

I live on an island where their is only 1 store that sells games on my side. So I usually have a reason to be worried about it selling out of something.
It just seems as if every other site has a review but here, wondering whats been going on with GS? I know its not out, thank you for clearing that up for me, but I would like to know what GS thinks, those other sites always blow the games, GS does give some good reviews!!

you guys are all f4gs for waiting this feverishly for a freaking videogame review, as if you're going to enjoy it more than the game itself. You already know the game is going to be great, and if you are really in hurry, IGN and Gamespy have already posted theirs.
Its kinda funny, I dout a GS review is going to influence anyone to buy or not to buy gta4. I don't think they are late, but most sites and mags like to review games before they are released. GS ha also gotten a lot of backlash for reviews in the past, this is a high profile game they may just don't wanna flub it up by rushing it. It will come and be the same as every other review out there.
I love the hostility of a bunch of 15 yr olds, I am not a big gamer, but do like to read GS reviews, and I thought they were a big game site, they r showing me they r starting to slide thats all, you guys gotta relax! I enjoy tuesday night more, thats when kids complain there parents wouldnt let them get it, or they think the game is overrated!!!

I have to agree. IGN had theirs out yesterday and today about 6 more reviews have come out so Gamespot is late. Sure the game hasn't come out but when you see 11 other reviews, you have to wonder why they haven't put one out yet. GTA 4 isn't like other games that get reviewed. This one has tons of hype and Gamespot needs to be a bit quicker and put out a review like everyone else. This is a game where more people are going to rely on reviews if they are sitting on the fence about buying it or renting it.

Yeah, true, but I'm not complaining. There are at least 10 review out already, all of them praising GTA to one extent or another. I'm convinced that this game will live up to it's hype. Plus, I care about IGN's reviews more than Gamespot's now (though I like Gamespot's too). I just think they're better... I'll leave it at that...
To be honest... I could careless about the review portion. It's just someone else giving their opinion (which is good to hear sometimes). I just would love to see more game play via Gamespot's review. And possibly some features other sites haven't mentioned. It would be nice if it came out soon. But not a big deal if it doesn't.
The review should be up before the game comes out so that someone can decide before the game comes out if they want to buy it or not. I hate when reviews come out after the game comes out cause no one cares about the review for a game that's already out and everyone has.
The only reason I bring this up, is they were pretty good with Halo 3, and I figured with the hype and positive reviews of GTA 4, something would be up today, even though its Sunday, no big deal, I just miss the good old days when they had reviews up right away, no matter what the game was. I also liked the old review system, not this 9.5 or 9, but lets say 9.6 and so forth, I know many will disagree, but it was better to see how they broke down their review and point structure, now it seems as if they are too lazy to really put much thought in their reviews, and for the record no way in hell it will get a 10! Under the old rating system maybe a 9.7 or such but who knows, I am just dissapointed in this site!
Gamespot has disapointed me many times and this won't be to far off. I think it will be Wedensday before we get the review even though IGN popped it out almost a week and a half ago.
