Where is this free month of Gold for owning MCC?

I keep seeing news articles about this online, but I have yet to see the free month added to my account. I bought the game at launch and have already put quite a few hours into it. Have any of you gotten this yet? My Gold subscription doesn't runout until the end of september, but I'm reading they should just tack another month on there for me, meaning it wouldn't runout until the end of october.

I think I got a message from Xbox LIve a few weeks ago on my Xbone.

I got the message for it a few days ago, but every time I try to apply it an error message pops up.

I think messages were sent out a while ago, although the responses above seem to suggest that some are getting them more recently (I got my message in early to mid January that it had been applied to my subscription). Check your messages, if you have not got one then I suggest perhaps going to 343 message boards or Xbox support to raise it and they will be able to check if you got the code sent and may re-send it or however they may work it out.

Arent we supposed to get the remastered Halo: ODST also?

I believe so, however this could be a while off as they are still making that aspect of the game (as far as I know). I think a Summer 2015 launch date for the DLC for Halo 3: ODST was mentioned when the announcement was made, but I could be wrong.
