probably ramp up production on a brand new IP or another Halo based thing for the next Xbox. And I think they'll probably stick with MS, just because of the history there.

I hope they make an FPS based on one of the first Spartans and have you play all the way tol the battle of Reach along with him fighting along side 100's of other Spartans on large scale battles.
In my twisted warped imagination, I think that Bungie should make a Gears of Halo game. Master chief should team up with marcus and beat up some locust, flood, and covenant. This would happen on earth and about halfway during the game the earth tries to nuke themselves to get rid of all alien threats, but fail. Gravemind would make a fusion of alll three races and make a super killer alien boss the size of the crysler building. You have to spend an entire hour killing this monster with warthogs, ghosts, and scorpions. I dare someone to beat this idea...

oh yes they should def try to do something with oni it was an amazing game for its time and i could see it being a great next gen game alot would have to change of course.
I'm expecting that they will be indepent and make a halo-like game. I mean a bit of a sf shooter. It could be they make a shooter wich takes place in the here and now. Well, it doesn't really matter. I think it won't be a sucsess. They are cocky after Halo 3, and without a good advertisement team the game won't be that much of a sucses. They could be bought by another company, but I don't think that'll happen. I mean, Mario meets Master Chief? No, I don't think that'll soon happen. It could be that sony is interested, but I think Bungie is too cocky to make the deal. Unless it's about a hell lot of money,
i agree, although it's getting tiresome how people ask "what will happen after this/that happens?" i mean just let the game come out then we can ask about it

I think they should do a game about the forerunners with some flood killing and maybe even monitors as playable characters. It would make for a good insight into why the halos were built and stuff.
Well right now Bungie has three projects in the pipe with one being recon. I would suspect that the 2nd would be that Pheonix project that was postponed during halos 1 and 2. I would think that the third would be another new IP. Bungie wanted freedom, so I doubt they'd keep churning out Halo games.
