Where's the hype for Conviction?

Splinter Cell: Conviction

Without a doubt, the Splinter Cell series is one of the best secret agent type stealth games out. Double Agent proved the series still has a spark, and the brand new exclusive, with stunning graphics and some wonderful gameplay elements, where the hell is all thr hype? I have not seen much, so seriously, who is looking forward to this, and who isn't?

As it gets closer to release the hype will build. I personally can't wait for the game.

im def getting it. it doesnt come out til feb 10'. so if your asking why theres no hype on the forum that might be why. plus MW2 is about to drop.

I got Double Agent first day, have loved the story and thought Sam was awesome since the first game. I finished Double Agent relatively quickly and have been waiting ever since the ending for Conviction to be released. I cannot wait, it is honestly one of my favorite video game series.

The way they changed it for the new game is even more exciting. The way he moves faster, is able to kill in that Bourne/24's character way is just plain awesome. It is going to be a sweet game. That is even without the multiplayer. I'm excited to see what is in store for that.

Without a doubt giong in my collection day one. Splinter Cell is the only Tom Clancy series they haven't f'ed up. Sad to see it ending, but glad they are before screwing over the fans.

I love this series but I am very skeptical in the direction it is going. It seems to be more focused around action than the stealth.

This is probably the most game i'm excited about! It's the best stealth game ever, no doubt it will beat MGS XD

From the previews, it looks like it's a lot less stealth/strategy oriented and a lot more James Bond oriented. I love the Splinter Cell games because you can spend so much time planning and remaining invisible...I prefer that to constant, fast paced action. I will wait a while before I buy it.

Right now there is no hype because we're in the middle of the Holiday season and a ton of great games are coming out. SC: Conviction will get some hype as it nears release.

It looks great and I want it but there are a ton of games that I want so I'm not hyping it.

I'm hyped for the game, but at this rate it will release when Duke Nukem does. The game was supposed to come out in 2007, it is now not coming out until 2010, or possibly latter if they delay it again. Hell Ubisoft even went as far as to scrap the entire game and start over (which is why it suffered a three year delay). Can't wait though, looks like it will be the best Splinter Cell yet.

It's supposed to be the last, and I don't see them continuing this series too long. As for VS mode, not a lot has been released, so not much to give. Sorry.

Isn't it coming out in March? I am totally buying the game, but right now, there are too many AAA games on the horizon. Someone else said as it gets closer the hype will build, I agree. Once we hit January, I'm sure the boards will be lighting up with Conviction talk.
