What was their to figure out you push the right stick and your guy floats over and kills everybody... It's not hard i played the demo 3 times and i got everything down and it was still a mediocre game at best..

youre judging it for the wrong reasons. i personally look at too human as a good rpg, with good story, and decent gameplay kinda like a mass effect. i have ninja gaide for my pure action needs
Have you played the demo?z3dd1cu5
Played it and loved it. I'll buy the game probably just need to read a few more reviews. I need to get the big picture on the story. If the stories not that great i wont buy it right away.
It'll be decent. Seemed like a really engaging story to me. At first Norse mythology and cybernetic humanoids didn't really sound too appealing, but after playing the demo, i thought to myself, "oh I see". Gameplay mechanics did seem a little repetitive, but compare that to any game. Any FPS is just one huge repetition. Any turned based JRPG is one long repetition. All games use repetitive mechanics in some way or another. This one decided on juggling enemies with a sword or hammer in the air. Seems like a good of an idea as any other.
What makes a game stand out, and stay memorable for the ages is its story. FF7 for instance, the Metal Gear series, Resident Evil games, and even the halo series all had a compelling story. Yes graphics, sound, and gameplay are huge parts of what makes a game great, but the story holds it all together. And I think Too Human stands a fighting chance.
The demo was fun, by the way.
man i was looking forward to this game i mean i havnt had time to play the demo, but the video previews looked cool. how long did this take to produce? i heard like 10 yrs lol but i dont know if it was true. if it is then that would suck if hte game didn't sell well.Creasy_Bear87
No, the game took 10 years to release. During those 10 years, it was at numerous times put on the backburner whilst SK produced other titles.
Personally I couldn't care less about reviews. I intend to purchase it from day 1. There are plenty of games that were never liked by the media, that I adore. There are also several "near-perfect" games that the media seems determined to give high marks too even when they are clearly undeserved. It definetly caters a niche market.
I've been looking for a Diablo style game on 360 for a while, and playing the Too Human demo is the closest I've found so far.
Combat seems fairly straightforward, though I've only played through once with the melee class (beserker?). The skills and inventory weren't very clear until you spend some time looking through them, but then I do like deep RPGs so this could be a game that gets better with time
I haven't played the demo (don't have xbl), but I have been looking forward to this game for about a year and it looks like a ton of fun. I have it pre-ordered and right now it's the game I'm most excited for.
Also I've read a lot of forum posts and a few reviews and for all the hate there's an equal amount of people saying they absolutely love it.
"have you played the demo?"- yeah i second that motion. the reason why there is no buzz is because the game is absolutely horrible, horrific controls, poor camera, mediocre graphics, redundant enemies, hack and slash boring gameplay...the list goes on. most people realize it's a mediocre game at best, the few that dumbly find it good are sitting back afraid to say anything to hype it because they know tons upon tons of people, like myself, will breathe fire down their throat because we know for a fact the game is trash. that is why there is no love for too human, because it is not deserving.makchady
LOL. ok there
They were making it for PS1, took too long ported it to Gamecube, took too long and now its on 360. They finally released it but even know it didnt look finished, it might be a cool game but im not taking a change and paying full price for this. If it gets high review scores then the hype might start but at this moment all signs point to this being a mediocre game.ronnet
That could be because it wasn't the complete game.
I'll wait a bit. I liked the demo and I only played through it once, although I didn't quite get a grasp of where the story was going.
Well I for one love it. I pre- ordered it and already got my armor sets :). Now I just got to wait for this very unique RPG to come out. Controls are simple. ( reminds me of A LOT of arcade games, right analog stick for shooting) Just like geometry wars.

Likewise. If the TC is looking for some Too Human love, he need look no further than yours truly :)
There is just so much depth to this game that many people seem not to have a great degree of understanding of.
I've played the demo through about four times. I have all the video diaries downloaded and I have a copy reserved, because I want those damn preorder armor sets.
I honestly can't understand why so many people are already complaining about this game. If you actually PAY ATTENTION to the demo instead of just blitzing through the dungeon, you'll realize that it's a lot deeper and a lot better than it appears on the surface. And as several people have already stated, it's only a demo. The graphics and everything else will probably be a lot better in the full game, and even if they aren't, nothing in the demo is all that bad to begin with. This game is going to be good. Even if it isn't amazing, it's going to be good.
Hell, I'll admit, I first heard about it before I had a 360, and this game was part of the reason I bought one.
