Which 2007 game should get the highest score

So I've seen tons of threads about "OMG Halo 3 has to get a 10!!" or "How the **** did Bioshock only get a 9.0?!!"

So I've decided to make a combined one about which games you think should get the highest scores or which aren't worthy of the hype, etc.

I personally don't think Halo 3 is gonna be the best game ever, just a great game. I'm most interested to see how original games like Assassin's creed and Army of two will score.

Halo, i think, will get the best score. Which game is better? Well thats hard to say because they are so different. I'm picking up all three. Halo 3, Asassins Creed, and Mass Effect all look fantastic. Not to mention many more. I never figured Bioshock would get GOTY but I am still going to buy it in a few hours. Its great.Spyderfan1212

I disagree. Between those 3, Mass Effect gets the higher score. Bioshock got very high scores, though overall. But, Halo 3 (puts up flame shield) doesn't have anything really revolutionary. Don't get me wrong, I plan on picking it up for the kick arse multiplayer, but Mass Effect - by all accounts - really takes a step forward in gaming...

I agree that Halo 3is nothing revolutionary. However there is just something about it that make people shout with glee (no matter how disturbing that is). Anyways Mass Effect really looks like something, AAA material no doubt.

Mass Effect has had so much tim and money put into It I would be suprised if it wasnt game of the year. Bioware is just way more diligent than UBIsoft

The problem with Mass Effect is that it seems that now you have to pause the game (and bring up the ring interface) if you want to use a biotics power or pretty much do anything except shoot.

The official boards are going crazy over this and it very well might effect the review scores... especially if all the pausing really slows down combat...

Flame shield..lol I guess I better jump behind it too because I agree with you!!!

Halo 3 or maybe Mass Effect should, IMO. When you buy a 60 dollar game, you should care about 2 things.. how fun it is, and how long it lasts, and I think Halo 3, and possibly Mass Effect, will to do well in both of those categories.

The first two Halo's were far above average, and the 3rd will most definitely be an awesome game as well.

And it doesn't matter how "new" or "revolutionary" a game is; what matters is how much fun it is to play.

And, let's cut it out with the "Single player is more important than multiplayer" bullcrap.

this is how I say it. I buy it for the sp, and stay with it for the mp.

Mass Effect, Halo 3, and Assassin's Creed will all get a 9.5. No game will get the single highest score.
