I'm on my second. I've never had one break on me, I just got deployed so I sent my first one to my mother until I got back. I started jonesing really bad and instead of risking having mine sent to me I bought a new one when I went through Kuwait.
I'm on my 7th but it's ok because i used to know a guy that worked at the GameStop where i bought it so he would get me warranty's for free whenever mine broke. Of course now he got transferred to a different store so now i do most of my video game shopping at BestBuy.
I am on my second. I had my first since December 05 (thanks GameStop for making me miss launch) and I sent mine into Microsfot and got a new one around August 07. But I still have the same hard drive since day 1.

i feel so bad for n e one one there 3rd or more because that just stinks. i was pissed off just as my first one broke, i mean not to be girly or n e thing but it was my baby you know. Like we bonded and all, I beat soo many games with her and We had a great thing going but her time came. The RROD gets the best of them. i was really sad i mean it had Sentimental Value. Just think back to the First day you opend your First360, i mean come on i got a huge headache after playing for 15hours straight.
Technically my 3rd, but only the first one actually did genuinely need repair. The second one was replaced because I thought my controller was being FUBAR when in reality, it was the battery pack I had on it that FUBAR'd.
happined 2 times... 2nd time was about 2 weeks ago .. still didint get my xbox back... but i bought a new 360 3 days after i got rrod... cant miss the gta iv launch. now ill have 2 incase one goes on me again ..
Had mine since Sept. of 2006. No problems. If the RRoD rate was as inflated as people claim it is on GameSpot, there would have been about an 80% failure rate, so some people are full of a little bit of BS...lol
