Hi, Most of my games are shooters and i'm looking for a different style of game I'm looking for an action game but i'm in doubt about which one to game (doesn't have to be a new release) Was thinking about red dead redemption, max payne 3, batman (asylum or city), dead space 1 or any resident evil. Which one do you think is best? Any other suggestions? tks
New games: Hitman Absolution, Assassin's Creed 3, GTA V, Sleeping Dogs Some of these games aren't even out yet but if you like action adventure games you'll probably enjoy them. Older games: Older AC games, Batman games, Red Dead Redemption, MP3, LA Noire, any sandbox games such as GTAIV.. pretty much all of Rockstar's collection in the past 4 or 5 years. Mafia 2 is a good choice as well. I can't recommend it enough.
A game like Red Dead Redemption will give you at least, 30 hours of gameplay. That's not including the online portion, which I have not played so much myself, but it's an open-world for online and you can have a lot of fun with it. I would suggest getting the GotY edition. Got mines for something like $30 and I don't regret it one bit.
You shouldn't give people the impression that L.A. Noire is an action game, unless you were just generally recommending it..but I think a lot of people were (sadly) disappointed in the game because it wasn't action oriented :/

L.A. Noire was so boring..
To you it was, but to me it was very enjoyable. It's a detective game that relies on extensive thinking. I like a game that makes me think.

If you're looking for something not gun-based, Arkham City, Captain America: Super Soldier, and LotR: War in the North are my #1 recommendations. WET is an old favorite of mine- it focuses more on cinematic flair and acrobatic slo mo than straight up/cover-based shooting mechanics. Also, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine has massive carnage and wholesale mayhem, along with a pretty fine story/universe.
umm cant say much about max pain because im about half way since release and tell you the truth i don't know when i go back to it...
the second bat man IMO was as good as the first. BUT i kinda stop playing it about 3-4hrs in. Then my friend told me he felt the same way but it got better down the road. BUT who knows
