Which band do YOU want a Guitar Hero game based on?

Incidentally, the back of the preview case I saw at Gamestop says "Featuring songs from Aerosmith and their favorite bands" so while it's obviously centered on them, it looks like there will be other content as well.3KindgomsRandy

Hmm, well that could change things. If it was pure Aerosmith I'm sold but now I'll have to see exactly what songs we're dealing with.

Because with a lot of bands I don't like their music, even if it's their best. With GH2 and GH3 there's a lot of songs that I'll never just play for the fun of it because I don't like the song in the first place. If I got a GH based on one band that I really liked then the odds are I'm going to like pretty much every song on the soundtrack.

Ehhhh, I think that's the problem. It's not the best of everyone. It's mostly just hit songs you hear all the time on the radio. I know I would love to hear more B-sides from some older bands that don't get a lot of play. But I'm sure even Aerosmith will have all of their pop crap hits like Don't Want to Miss A Thing. But I should be happy with Rag Doll and maybe the original Dream On...

Here is an idea, maybe the should charge like $20 for the game and the rest will allow you so many songs to download (like a voucher for 20 song to choose from). Just an idea.

That's a possiblity if they could build up a large enough library of songs to download, and I didn't notice it when I downloaded other songs but I'm assuming that songs probably don't take up too much HD space.

I think having Aerosmith as the subject of an entire game is a stupid idea, I mean theyre good but not that good. Im definetely not getting Aerosmith Guitar Hero.

The Libertines. They'd be too punky probably though to work effectively.

The Strokes would be another band i'd love to rock to.

GNR, Zeppelin and Metallica sound awesome. Hah, I love Alexisonfire, would be awesome to see that happen, but probably never will :(
