I'm going into town on Saturday with my girlfriend and we are getting a 360. It's just I'm not 100% sure on the bundle I'd like. I've found two identical bundles, apart from the different in game, now I need a second opinon on which one I should go for. I thought I'd ask as I'm guessing you guys will have more experience with each game.

Okay, so, each bundle will include a Xbox 360 Premium console and GTA IV.

However, do I want this with Halo 3 or do I want it with Lost Odyssey?

I played Halo 3 for literally 10 minutes over my sister's house and I found myself quickly frustrated with the FPS angle. However, I know Halo is a big deal on Xbox 360 and a part of me wants to get to grips with it. But then I'm a big RPG fan and although Lose Odyssey may not be a 'must have' perhaps I'd enjoy it more.

Should I miss out on Halo 3 for Lost Odyssey or is that just criminal?

I would go with the Halo 3. Why? Well my reasons are

1. Great Single Player Story Line
2. Amazing single player Co-op story line
3. THOUSANDS of hours online you can play
4. Multiplayer has lots of games modes

In the end I would go with Halo 3

I agree with mordok. Halo 3 has a great replay value via the multiplayer aspect. If you are getting a 360 with GTA4, I would definately say get Halo 3 over Lost Odyssey

If your a RPG as in a J(apanese)RPG fan of the oldschool Final Fantasy setting then its a must have. The game is great for those who like that. Personally if your looking for a single player RPG I would go for a western one like Oblivion, Mass Effect or Fable 2 which is comming out in October. All of those are must haves of the highest level (for me atleast)

As for the console, maybe you should wait for the 60gb model that comes in August. Its said to have a new chipset (named Jasper) which is PROD proof instead of PROD resistend (the one the current 20gb models have). If you do decide to get a 20gb model then you always have your free PROD waranty.

I have a 20gb ans its enough for demos, download able content etc but if you want to download movies and xbox originals then youll need more. Also soon we'll be able to save our games on outr harddrives which leads to less sounds and less loading, you might want a 60gb for that aswell.

I think 20gb will be big enough for me, as I don't plan to go crazy on downloading movies etc. As far as saving the games on the console goes, that seems like a decent idea but I don't mind physically swapping them. I have thought about waiting for the 60gb, but I'm in England and I don't know if it's happening August here or not...? Also will the price for the 60gb be the same for the 20gb?

I think Lost Oddyssey is a JRPG, rather than (western) RPG, so be careful. I was thinking about getting it, but really don't enjoy the Japanese turn based combat system, so LO wasn't for me.

Halo 3 is a big name FPS title, though it has been out a while now, and can be bought for £15 from GAME (preowned), while COD4 is still holding its value at around £30.

Make sure to grab a play and charge kit as well - a vital accessory for wireless controllers

They dropped the price of the 20gb, we thought it was a price drop but they did that so they can start replacing them with 60gb models which is the new standard for the same price as the standard 20gb model (before the price drop).

Oh okay. I read the news feed on here and it said it won't be avaiable in Europe, they are only doing the price cut for USA. So I guess I will just stick to the 20gb.
