I'm planning to buy a full hd lcd (1080p) in the near future, i wonder which cable i should use for an optimal "hd experience".
Can i use the cables that came with the standard premium package?
thanx

If you really want to go to the nines, get an Elite and go HDMI, it will give you the best connection, with the standard component cablesyou need afiber optic cable to getbetter sound from the 360 with that setup.
Honestly though, 1080p is heavily overrated on the 360, virtually all games are done in 720p, and your not really gaining a whole hell of a lot by going to 1080p, The only real bonus is that if you have a 1080p set, it allows you to display in the set's native resolution. I have 2 1080 sets, and I honestly prefer 720p with the 360, but 20 other people will tell you this or that or I'm nuts or whatever, but that's my view.
I'm not saying anyone is nuts or anything - it's all a matter of preference. I do prefer to play all my games in 1080p and more and more of the new games have been coming optimized for 1080p - like Lost Planet for one example.
That being said - if you don't have a console yet - go with the Elite. If you already have a premium - you can either use the componant cables that came with it - if your new TV supports 1080p over componant (allot of them don't). Or go with the VGA cable which provides more bandwidth than componant - if your TV supports 1080p via VGA. It really depends on what your TV will support for 1080p input. Usually 1080p TV don't support that resolution through ALL of their inputs - so make sure and check that out before buying the TV.
If you get a TV with HDMI - you may have to go with an Elite anyway to get the 1080p resolution as most of the TV's with HDMI that support 1080p - only support that resolution through HDMI.
:)
(I have an Elite and play at 1080p and absolutely LOVE it - even on upscaled games it looks better than 720p to me. But that's just my opinion.)
