Which Call of Duty gametype is the best and why?

Headquarters is the best and here are the reasons.

1. You can get alot of points and alot of kills, more than any other gametype (I know you can get more points on search, but you cant get more kills and kills level up your guns, improve stats, etc.)

2. Helps you learn new maps quickly

3. All the best people play headquarters

Hardcore is nothing but camp with a silenced uav weapon, no skill, no fun.

In my Hardcore games i seen only 2 campers. :| I don't know about you.

Either Hardcore Team deathmatch or Hardcore Headquarters in WaW, its slower then core. But each kill is extra special.

Search and Destroy is my favorite, and actually the "best people" play search. Either normal or hardcore.

You are so lying. Campers are in every HC game I have played. Another bad thing about HC is garbage people who don't know how to call in airstrikes and kill you 1 kill away from a helicopter, or team kill with random nades, or accidental or intentional team killing 1 kill away.

No the best people play headquarters (Look at SaW clan and NVO). Campers play search. Look at me, I am going to sit here and wait for somebody to walk by, or random nade their spawn, yeah alot of skill needed.

Yeah its no big deal for someone who cant string together a killstreak, but for good people like me, it is a very big deal.

search and destroy is the best cus all you have to do watch your back and have someone cover you i think its the most challenging and fun thing about cod 5.crazyjt

You do the same thing in headquarters, but over and over again. Plus when you play search, you aren't able to utilize killstreaks, sure you may get lucky and take out their whole team, but you can't pull off a 7 streak, and that right there is why it is inferior. One of the cornerstones of COD is killstreaks, and if you play a whole game with only one person getting a 5 streak, then thats boring. I'll go play Gears if I want search and destroy

Dude, stop thinking that making killstreak is what will make a game mode so amazing the only thing killstreak does is giving you a bigger ego or using the stupid helico which i find cheap and stupid IMO.

Wow... That is the most incorrect opinion I have heard in a long time. Hardcore takes WAY more skill (overall) than regular matches because you get popped a couple times at most and you're down whereas in the other modes you can unload a clip into someone and they won't die. Hardcore is the best and Hardcore Team Deathmatch is my fave mode to play.

I'm more tempted to say you avoid Hardcore because you're a whiney kid who'll complain if he gets accidentally killed by a grenade. But what do i expect from a guy who says ace of spade must have no friend on XBL for suggesting Free for all or that Hardcore take no skills. So i don't see what you are trying to prove + you are bashing others users and you havent even played against them.

Your topic title clearly ask the OPINION of others, you don't have to bash anyone who disagree with your choice of best gametype seeing its their OPINION. Logic must be optional for you bro. free 4 all is the best. i hate teaming with people. no thanx. free 4 all actually shows how good u are. u might win a couple of games of free 4 all, but winning constantly is only for good players. plus youre wrong. i always play ffa with friends. we play exactly the same and its fun cause u have only yourself to worry about. since cod4 came out i probably have played ffa 95% of the time. hardcore anything has way too many campers and is too slow pace for me.

I like domination because games last 10+ mins and it's just too easy to get 50 kills in a game. By the way, your #3 is so wrong, it's just a bunch of people who want XP so they can get their lame gold cross, nothing else.

I'd have gladly backed up my post as to why i love hardcore but your #3 of your main post made you lose all credibility. Without forgetting your pointless bashing of others poster like ace of spade who CLEARLY given his point on why he prefered free for all but you still bashed him and said he had no friends. First of all, advancing to gold cross as fast as possible is the goal when playing COD. Second, we are all gold crosses, but still play headquarters because thats where all the good players go to. And finally domination is nothing but a bunch of people campinga flag and getting kills, doesn't take as much skill as headquarters.

1. Headquarters is fastpaced, you can't just sit at the last Hq and expect to get alot of kills like in dom.

2. I went ahead and got to gold cross, then got all gold guns, why, because that way I can rest easy knowing I don't have anything else to do.

3. Campers in Hq dont usually help the team where as in dom you can by just guarding one flag.

No, I am well capable of playing without friends, thats how I met the guys I play with.They saw that I didexceptionally well, despite the fact that I had a team full of noobs likeyourself.The only problem is it is not fun to play without people you know. I dont know, call me someone who is actually social and likes to talk with and play with friends online. I am the kind of guy who will bash youafter the game if you do something stupid like halo jumping, usejuggernaut, drop shot(it doesn't work, ever notice how the times when you did kill somebody by doing this that they were already dead before you were on the ground, if anything it hurts you because it restricts your mobility in being able to kill the people behind you and makes your headeasier tohit when you are going down). On the other hand you are the one who backs out when things get heated.I never said that I was asking for your opinion, I asked which gametype was best and why. The "and why" suggests that I want you to back up your choice with evidence as to why it is better than all the other gametypes. I have been using logic all along to support why headquarters was the best and refuting all claims of hardcore and search being superior. I was using it, you were just to blind to see it.

in any case with out talking about all bashing that going on in here. HC Team death match is my fav. i played Reg. TDM for a while just to get familiar with the maps then decided to play HC TDM and then Reg. S&D to leard the flow of it then HC S&D. for me atleast i dont like putting half clip in a guy to kill him. for me HC is more tactical. and thats how i like to play.

I love Domination, I have a blast playing it with a Party. :)
