The black looks more sinister, more powerful, more indicitive of the pure rage under the hood... if I thought I could get a decent price trading my Pro in, I might consider it, but I'll most likely settle for picking up the 120GB HD as an accessory for my present box. Besides, www.decalgirl.com offers a replacement black housing as well as some killer skins that allow for some intriguing customizations thus the color of your Xbox a moot point.

I don't have a preference because i can only see my 360's front-end as it's in a cabinet.

I believe white looks better. It's easier to notice before you trip over it to get a midnight snack when you can't sleep. :P
