which equipment is better, GH WT, or RB2??

i wanna buy one of these games, but i really cant decide. im leaning towards GH just cause the colorful equipment, and also the fact i like that franchise tons more. BUt in all honesty, which equipment is more reliable / gives better feedback. im talking particularly about the drums.

also does anyone know which one is more alive online, with more people to play the "tour"/"campaign" mode, or battle with? i know RB has far better songs, but thanks again for the help :)

Not quite sure bout reliability because I dont have either...but I have played both and I really think that GH is all around better. The guitar is easier to play and see on screen... I hate rock band for the reason that those stupid little rectangles that come down the screen instead of GH circle buttons... idk thats just me though

Speaking for someone who has complete sets for both games, GH's equipment is far superior. As for the better game, that's another story.

Keep in mind that I received all of my equipment in working order. Actually, out of 5 music games(GH2, GH3, RB, RB2, GHWT) that I have purchaced complete sets from, I have never had a faulty instrument. I don't consider myself lucky. Truth is, most of the equipment shipped out with these games does work.

So without that bias and the fact that I own both sets, GH's instruments are the way to go. The buttons are easier to deal with and seem less like a chore to push down. The whole guitar just feels better than RB's guitar. The drums are also far better for GH. Keep in mind that everything works with my set. With that said, the RB set is of fairly poor quality when compared with GH's set.

Basically, I prefer the RB2 game while using GHWT instruments.
