I would say AC. That game is just amazing! I couldn't believe how beautiful it looked when I came around the bend and saw Demascus and Jerusalem! It's a very beautiful game. Bioshock is gorgeous too though for sure.
although mass effect does look good, bioshock still takes the cake with some of the impressive visuals in the game and a very atmospheric world immersing the players in the 50s or wherever i guess.
Bioshock did the impossible for me. I actually felt like i was in this dilapidated world rather than just a viewer from the outside. Everything that game tryed to pertray it performed perfectly.
So I say Bioshock, i have yet to play Assasins Creedor Mass Effect though
Bioshock. The environments, the characters, the sound, the music, the voice acting, the story, the atmosphere, Sander Cohen; everything about that game was absolutely amazing. I wouldn't hesitate to call it art for a second. Art isn't just about graphics, in fact, in a game it's probably the aspect that matters least. If Bioshock didn't look as good as it does, I would still consider it art. Design > Technology, although they're better when combined, but that's a different discussion.
i would say assasins creed. my reason is that there are so many different objects, character designs, and each city is so different. and to make it all look historically correct! that game is a master pieceand is near perfection(art wise)
bioshock, while stunningly buetifull, doesnt make the cut as the best art work of 07. the world itself is great, but its lacking in character models and repetitive rooms that look destroyed.

As fat as art goes, I'd definitely go for BioShock because of its unique world and immagination. Kudos to 2K on a great game (though it lacks heavily on replay value).
Bioshock was one beautifully immersive piece of art. The story, the bacstory, the music, the setting, the atmosphere. That game is the only game that i really consider to be a "work of art"
