I have 1200 MS points and am thinking about spending them on one of these games. I don'thave xbox live goldbut I occasionally playwith my friend when he comes over. I was thinking about gettingCC but I still have doubts that the multiplayer will increasethe fun factor since I won't get to playthe multiplayerevery day.Which would you say has the better single player/gameplay?

Well they're very different games. Braid is a puzzle platformer and Castle Crashers is an old-school arcade brawler. Braid is a timeless classic, and castle crashers is just a nice homage to the old-school brawlers.

Braid was really great while it lasted but once I finished it I never went back to it (and it only took a week or so to beat).

I played the demo of Castle Crashers and wasnt too keen on it.

You should check out the demo's of Geometry Wars 2 and Bionic Commando Rearmed. I still play these games a LOT

braid was insane, kinda short, but an AMAZING game, i would play it just for the story. it was amazingly deep for a small XBLA game

Braid was fun, but once you beat it, you are done. It is fun while you are playing it and some of the problems are very challenging. I havn't played Castle Crashers, so I can't vouch for it.

Buy castle crashers and if you like shooters wait for Battlefield 1943.

Castle Crashers. Replayability is endless IMO. Love it.

They're just so different.

Braid might have less replay value, but its definitely an experience everyone should have. Its simply a work of art.

Castle Crashers is just mindless fun, and there's nothing wrong with that at all.

Depends on which type of game you're in the mood to play. You cant really go wrong with either, though.

Braid is no fun if you don't want to think real hard.

K well if you want the most EPIC storyline ever then pick Braid. If you want a great beat'em up with a lot of replay value, then pick Castle Crashers. However, the writing in Braid is simply SPECTACULAR. I still go back to play it for the amazing craft of writing it has to offer.
