Well Saints Row 2 looks exactly like the first one, and it will probably still be full of bugs which the devs won't update. GTA IV will clearly be the winner, they have been working on it for years longer than Saints.
Since both games haven't been released yet i will have to go by past games while the first Saints Row was ok it was no GTA so purely on that i would say GTA IV plus i do think it will be the better game anyway.
Why was this created? Your asking if an original game will be better or a carbon copy of that original game will be better? Oh wait no....you ask which one IS better as if they have been released already. Well technically no one can answer that quest because no one owns any of the two. But if you were to ask which one will be better, then I must ask you where is the logic in that.
fable was bs. it was supposed to actually be immersive like the elder scrolls. they lied. now when it comes to gta4 vs sr2 then i have to ask you, which one did you have more fun playing? oh wait...you haven't played them? oh right because their not out yet.
