Its pretty obvious that Halo 3 will be reviewed the highest. TBH, Hype=Rating. GoW really fed off the hype imo, it did not deserve that high of a score seeing as how its not even a party game but its emphasis was in the multiplayer.
bioshock got a 9 not a 9.1 from GS... but i think mass efect or halo3 has the best chance, i hope assassins creed comes in and surprises everyone though. as for COD4, IDK...
I agree that Halo 3 will probably get the highest review here at GS, their reviews are very erratic however so who knows. Overall at Game Rankings were the reviews of all the major sites/mags are taken into account I think Mass Effect will score the highest this year.
Halo 3 is going to be the best game of the year. It's the end of the trilogy so they are pulling out all the stops and putting everything into it. No effort was spared in making it and even though it was already an amazing game with the beta, they have taken that and perfected it based on how everyone was playing then.
