I can't say for Burnout, but if you were to do everything in Mass Effect, if it's your first time playing, you'd be looking at 20-25 hours, give or take a few.
Buy the expansions for Fallout 3. Notice I said "expansions". They aren't the rip-offs you think they are. Same with Burnout Paradise.
Back on topic, Mass Effect has a lot of game, but Burnout Paradise is way more fun and has a ton of content as well.
I bought Fallout 3 expecting it to take me months to do everything on the disk, and it barely took me a week to get all achievements, talk to every last person, find all rare items, discover every location(due to level 20 perk). Im not a fan of DLC, so buying the DLC for Fallout 3 is out of the question for me. Which leads me to my next question. Which game will take me longer to complete everything? Burnout Paradise or Mass Effect 1?linklb4130
You should have tried doing all of the stuff on Fallout 3 without using Youtube and Google, because there is no way you completed everything in that game in a weeks time. But to answer you question, I would say Mass Effect 1.
Probably Mass Effect but they are both fairly short. To me all the Burnout races felt the same since they would all end at like 4 or 5 locations.
[QUOTE="gem98088"]Your first playthrough of Mass Effect could take you up to 40-50 hours.. if you dont rush and visit all the planets.firefox59Yeah I'd say this. People beating the game in 20 hours are blazing through and just beating the 4 main planets. I'm not sure I'd give it between 35 and 40 hours of game at most for a first run, even exploring all explorable planets
Go back and beat the rest of Fallout. If you only unlocked the locations on the map and did not actually explore them, you've missed quite a lot of the game. Frankly, I call BS on you having beaten everything within a week, unless you quite literally do not sleep nor have any obligations outside the walls that form your house. If the is indeed the case, get the expansions. They are an entire game in and of themselves.
I say get all of the Fallout 3 expansions and go through them, I can guarantee at least another week or two for you there (assuming you play the same rate you played fallout 3). Also, might I ask you how many hours you have logged on Fallout 3, and if you just got all of the achievements or you actually did, explored and saw EVERYTHING? Because a week is pretty quick to do all that.
I have finished playthroughs of Mass Effect 1 whilst doing everything available, including DLC, at around 32 hours. However, if you're looking for a game that would take you a while to get all achievements I would say go for this. It requires several playthroughs to get them all. I think it needs at least three if you plan it correctly. Plus, you've got the option of going back and playing the opposite of what you played the first time around.
Or, if you're a sadist I'd give Lost Planet 2 a shot.

Grand Theft Auto IV, it's gonna take you 18 hours if you complete the Main Mission and skip the Side Mission or 25 if you complete the Side Missions
