So is there a trend with the ladies not using mics?
As for me, I did play against some girls on GTA4. Even some geeky sounding ones!

Of course most want to play games not get harassed. I doubt it'll be fun having everyone scream ASL,how big, want sex,and i ***** you hard *****. Seriously if i was a girl i'd never use a microphone.

Amen. Of course it would be nice if people could sit down and talk and play games and get along without arguing or being horny all of the time.If you're looking to play with girls get on during one of the frag doll nights. I've never been on for one of them, but considering the frag dolls are all female that's your best bet.
Personally I just mute voice when I'm online. People on Live annoy me. The few times I've had voice on I haven't run into anyone who I enjoyed chatting with. I really wish they had some servers that were 21+. I'm sick of kids. No offense anyone.
I get girls on Halo 3 about once every ten games or so. They are usually mellowed out and cool since they are used to being made fun of alot on there.
Edit: Haha, I don't GET girls in one out of every ten games, but there are girls in the game.
Those are called "Guys". Anyways, uno has lotsa girls, but, I fail to see what the difference is when you are simply playing a game over the internet with people you'll never meet.l4d...most of them suck and dont use mics.

Im not sure if it just me but lots of chicks online are kinda annoying, its hard to tell if there little kids or not.
I know what you talking about man those little bastards get on my nerves man I swear these kids today they don't have respect for anyone they should make like when you sign up for XBOX Live what group age you want 18+ or some like that but back to the topic a lot of chix that I met were playing Splinter Cell D.A and Rainbow Six Vegas. If you're looking to play with girls get on during one of the frag doll nights. Well im on Xboxlive all day :) mite not be playing but logged in I play Gears war 3, halo 3 i play modernwarfare the first one i also play lost planet 2 tekken 6 and metal of honor :)ZombieStripperyeah but they are asking about actual girls. not a guy acting like he is a girl on a forum. sorry... your other thread, and the fact that you have spammed about 4 threads now insisting you are a girl when nobody even asked, kinda found you out.
Being a girl myself there seem to be about three games I play that have some girls in it other than me. They are: Red Dead Redemption(usually on Friendly),Left for Dead(always on normal or advanced), and Halo Reach(usualy Squad or SWAT). For me it is these three plus Red Alert 3, Resident Evil 5, and Black Ops. Also girls do use mics if they are use to harrassment and guys asking them out. I for one use my mic all the time.
All the woman I have friended are from playing "Left 4 Dead". Just be respectful and don't act desperate. Cuz women can smell desperation and it smells just like poo.
There are loads ofgirls on Xbox Live, really. I, for one, happen to keep my mic on most of the time. If any harassment comes my way, I'll just turn it off, finish the game, and leave the lobby.
In any case, why are you bothered about what gender you play video games with? It hardly makes a difference.
Females are all over XBL, and on-line gaming in general. Problem is they rarely use microphones since the majority of guys with Internet anonymity abuse it andare total d-bags, especially towards women. Just look at half the clan icons in a COD:Black Ops game, it isn't difficult to figure out why that is.
For me it's all about making good on-line friends to play games with and women tend to make fine ones. I like conversation and squad play when on-line, so the MIC is on and I welcome humor and interesting conversation during dead moments. I especially like to know who has which flank or who's about to grab the point (so I don't 'head shot' them).

This is a 2 year old topic people. And the bold part sounds really dirty.
Applogies. That was not my intent. And FWIW, I was not on this board two years ago and would want to know what people thought today anyway.
Game on!
It really doesnt matter, but I have heard quite a few on Gears. I dont use a mic outside of party chat on any game anymore, but I can hear them over my stereo speakers. Usually I hear them giggling and being stupid to receive even more attention from the guys who will give it to them. Its pretty sad actually, and even more so when they are on my team and suck because they are talking the whole time instead of playing. Its quite irritating now that I ponder it. Girls; please dont use a mic when playing. Just shush and play like the rest of us(for the most part) and maybe we can win one of these matches together. Also you wont have to deal with irregular dudes or people calling you out for being a woman. All pluses it sounds like to me.
One thing crossed my mind that might be helpful. Folks who don't like chat and mics during games might want to move out of the "recreational" game catagory (if you have not already) and into the one for more serious gamers. I think it's called "hardcore" or something. I have never gone there myself as I like mics on and a bit of talk during slow moments. I also like the funny comments that folks often make.
What made me think of this is that I have a ping pong table that gets a lot of use and most of the time people are not even keeping score. Just knocking the ball around and talking more than playing. But, now and them, the game is "on" or it's "tournament time" and folks get very quiet and play hard. Is this not what MS is going for with these "recreational" and "hardcore" area's?
