I had my xbox360 connected to 19 inch LCD monitor but now I wana buy a resonable priced hdtv.I have 3 options for it sony , samsung , philips, panasonic which 1 should i get all are 32 inch size just a little differnece in price and all r 720p only difference I can find is of contrast ratio and I m not even sure if that will make such a big difference.Samsung has contast ratio of 5000:1 whereas sony contrast ratio is just 1300 : 1. This is sony model Sony Bravia KLV-32V200A and Samsung model is Sony Bravia KLV-32V200A.

Don't know much about your specific case, but with Sony you're paying more for the name tag and not quality. Samsung on the other hand, has made a name for gaming tvs. Another fun fact, Sony buys some of the hardware for their tvs from Samsung. I'm gonna say go with Samsung

Go the samsung, the higher contrast ratio is a plus.
