Which is better resolution on xbox 360?? Currently its 1080i on my tv ??

Can any one tell me which is better resolution ?1080i or 720p 480 or something ? Right now im running 1080i

just set it to the native res of TV, if you don't know it then set it to 720p for now

Technicallly 720p is better but you can really tell the differnce from 1080i and 720p but i would set it to 720p since thats  technically better.

What ever your native resolution is would be best. You can usually get this info by googlingthe model number.
    However, if it does support both 1080i and 720p, you can use the rull of thumb that slower moving games, like puzzle games, golfing games, Viva Pinata (you get my meaning) would benefit a little from 1080i,
    But, a fast moving game like Gears or racing games would be cleaner looking in 720p. For that reason, and so you don't need to switch back and forth, I recommend 720p.
    But you can get a VGA cable and output to your TVs native resolution exactly if you have a LCD TV/Monitor with VGA inputs.

I like 720p since it's closer to my native res...And 1080i makes the text slightly smaller... Just change it and see for yourself, if you can tell a difference, choose the one you prefer.
