If you're not sure, why not have a look? Mine is Gears its almost unreadable, not because the 360 scratches it but because I've played it so long and often and always leave it lying about the place, same goes to R6 Vegas (second hand). I should really take better care of them...lol :D
None of my game disks are scratched. The only time they get scratched is if I lend them to somebody (which i have stopped doing for this very reason) or if I buy them 2nd hand. I checked my oldest game..a launch PS1 game and that is virtually brand new!
I take excellent care of my disks and haven't scratched any. My first 360 did snap one of my disks, and I just brought it back to Gamestop and they replaced it free of charge...eventhough I didn't buy the game there lol. Oh the staff are so totally clueless lol...that and they're complacent.
None of my games have scratches but my Bioshock has a crack in it from taking it out of the case. It stops right at the edge where the data is and so far I havn't seen any problems in game.
I had a scratch-free collection of everything up until recently. My cousin borrowed my xbox360 over the weekend with NFS:Carbon as the only game for it. When he dropped it off there was a random music CD in the DVD-case and an empty x360, went to his place and he found the DVD under the couch. I don't understand how people can be so irresponsible with discs, especially other peoples, when they are sensitive to that kind of stuff.
