Well, I personally can't wait for DA. I absolutely love Mass Effect, but DA, in my opinion, has more story, more plot. That's more of what I want in a game.
I'd have to say DA simply because Mass Effect gets so repetitive. I do play Mass Effect more and have put DA down for long periods of time, but that's mostly because the plot seems like your basic cookie cutter story that nearly every fantasy RPG uses.
ME2 because there are no stages that I loathe to same degree of hatred as the endless dwarf dungeon and the god awful Fade level. Every time I think about replaying DAO I remember the Fade and I decide to play something else instead. Mining in ME2 is almost as bad but at least I can hack my way around that.
Mass Effect 2 by far imo; I tried so hard to like DA:O but the boring gameplay and all the reading got to me. It's a shame that I can no longer play old-fashioned, or I should say semi-old-fashioned, games anymore. :(
I think Bioware put much more effort into ME than DA. The DA2 demo was very fun though, so I'm excited to see what they did with it, compared to ME2. But that's besides your question. I would pick ME2.
I liked Mass Effect better. There are a ton of fantasy based RPGs out there - both for 360 and PC, but we dont have that many Sci-Fi RPGs (or any other form of RPGs for that matter)
Neither! I am a run and gun kinda person I don't want a lot of conversation.. Lets kill.. my husband plays mass effect, I call it Nap Effect because its just so boring to me. I need some action.. and DA also boring. I guess I just don't like RPG's.
